Goodness, this brings back old memories,

Ones of a land barren of trees.

Long before I appeared in my first episode,

I lived with my family in our humble abode.

My parents worked hard in order to provide,

And to send me to where I currently reside.

I need to go visit one of these days,

Back to where I once was able to graze...

Zecora definitively needs more love.
I tried to imagine her as a filly (?) in her native land, which obviously is wild Africa, with her family, and here's what came out! I wonder if she misses it.

Man, I'd love to visit wild Africa! Especially seeing majestic wild animals in their habitat, and not trapped in cages! Lions! Giraffes! And elephants! And hippos! *squeee* :iconcrystalponiesplz:
I need to go oneday.

I hate zoos though

I have something in my fanfiction about Zecora's African homeland. She has a nemesis that is a male Cheetah. THey have been enemies since they were a foal and a cub. This Cheetah likes to call himself Ultracheetah and will stop at nothing to eat Zecora. He has the same Swahili accent as her, speaks the same language (Swahili) and also speaks in rhymes when speaking a different language
